The latest Lucky Cat product is getting ready to launch!
It is a truly delicious chocolate mousse - as light and fluffy as it is rich and decadent.
The secret to its lightness is aquafaba. This is the liquid drained from cooked chickpeas or beans. Some ingenious person discovered a few years ago that this liquid holds many of the same properties as egg whites. It has been a game changer in the vegan world, allowing meringues, mousses and soufflés to be put firmly back on the table!
This mousse is made with high quality 75% organic dark chocolate, maple syrup and vanilla. A tart raspberry compote finishes it off and complements the sweetness of the mousse.
I think this is my favourite of all the Lucky Cat products and I can't wait to get it out to people.
